Cheryl M. Rivas, CMP, is a Senior Manager, Accounts & Marketing Communications at Meeting Sites Resource. She has been with the MSR team since 2004 and is responsible for strategically partnering with MSR customers on all facets of global site research, custom hotel contract negotiations and meeting support services. She also serves on the MSR Executive Committee which focuses on a multitude of company strategic initiatives. Cheryl earned the prestigious CMP certification in 2007. She also holds her Bachelors degree in Communications with an emphasis in Entertainment Studies/Hospitality & Tourism. Cheryl contributes much of her time to speaking at industry events, on topics such as Strategic Hotel Contract Negotiations and How Hotels Value Your Meetings. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the MPI Orange County Chapter as President-Elect. She has also served on many board positions, several chapter committees and is a chapter “Shining Star Award” recipient. | ||
